Let's Be Sensible

Okay, I am disabled and I am guessing that if you are looking at the site, then you are too.

I enjoy travel and am lucky enough to have been to various countries as well as hotels in England, Scotland and Ireland. However, I have experienced varying problems while on my holidays – whether at the hotels/accommodation, or with activities on offer or things to do generally in a country.

Obviously (but not necessarily), the further afield you go, then the chances are that you are going to experience difficulties, probably in relation to things to do – but maybe also in terms of where you are staying too.

List of experiences I have found a challenge or could find problematic.

• 4x4's, quad bikes, pedal bikes, rickshaws
• Cable cars
• Small planes, helicopters
• Jet skis, windsurfing, banana boats, canoeing, kayaking, pedalos
• Scuba-diving, snorkelling
• Snowboarding, snowmobiling, sandboarding
• Parachuting, hang gliding, paragliding, parasailing
• Horse and/or camel riding
