Disabled Travel

Over the years, disabled travel has become easier and now even those in wheelchairs are able to board planes by way of hydraulic lifting “platforms” as well as using other types of travel too. Changes have been made to accommodate people with a range of disabilities who still want to travel and have every right to be able to. These include not just improvements in getting to a destination, but also changes in whichever country is being visited.

Disabled travel isn’t always easy and sometimes may not even be possible, depending on a person’s disability, but today there are opportunities for disabled people to be able to see the world and the words “disabled” and “travel” can now be used together – whereas this was once not the case.
